Cúrate Travel

a new travel experience

[ About ]

Travel has always been at the heart of our story.

Through Cúrate Travel, we invite you to join us on exclusive journeys to the places that continue to inspire us through their food, wine, and hospitality. Each and every itinerary is guided by curiosity, authenticity, and a spirit of discovery, designed to make travelers feel like locals, not tourists.

Our evolving collection of journeys reflects a balance between adventure and accessibility, offering a mix of experiences for different budgets, interests, and schedules. Our small-group tours are for travelers who want to understand a place through its food, wine, culture, and unique accommodations. Whether it’s tasting new vintages in the vineyards in Rioja, meandering along worn streets in the coastal towns of Catalonia, or uncovering the culinary heart of Latin America, each journey brings travelers closer to the soul of each place and the true spirit of Cúrate.

At its heart, Cúrate Travel is about joy, hospitality, and genuine human connection, traveling the world the way Felix always has: with purpose, openness, and a love for sharing unforgettable experiences.

Upcoming Tours

Barcelona & Costa Brava

A Cultural Journey Along Spain’s Rugged Mediterranean Coast

The Costa Brava is one of the most extraordinary corners of Spain, a stretch of coastline that has long inspired artists and chefs, from Salvador Dalí to Ferran Adrià.

There is something in this landscape, the wind, the sea, the rugged cliffs, that invites imagination and bold ideas. For us, this journey is also deeply personal, as the region is home to our co-founder, Félix Meana.

We’ll begin our journey in Barcelona, where the architecture, markets, and daily life reflect Catalonia’s creative spirit. Through our longtime friendships with chefs, restaurateurs, and winemakers, we will guide you beyond the beaten path, sharing meals in places that are deeply meaningful to us.

From there, we’ll travel into Penedès for vineyard visits and a hands-on cooking experience before continuing to the Costa Brava. With Roses as our base, we’ll explore the far eastern edge of the Iberian Peninsula, from working fishing culture to coastal towns like Cadaqués and Figueres, and a visit to the El Bulli Museum.

This is an immersive journey through Catalonia’s landscape, creativity, and way of life.

Basque Country,
Rioja & Bordeaux

A Journey Across Two Iconic Wine Worlds

When we think of the Basque Country, we think of one of the most extraordinary food regions in the world, where Michelin stars coexist with lively pintxo bars and every meal reflects a deep sense of culture and pride.

This itinerary begins in Rioja and the Basque Country, then crosses into Bordeaux for a seamless exploration of two great wine regions. For the first time, we’re spending meaningful time on the French side, tracing how these cultures, histories, and terroirs connect.

We’ll visit historic bodegas and châteaux, taste traditional and evolving expressions of winemaking, and move from cellar tastings to coastal meals and vineyard walks. This is a small-group journey designed for depth, perspective, and experiencing these regions through the lens of our longtime partners.

Mexico City

Into the Heart of Latin America

Mexico City was one of the most surprising destinations we have traveled to in recent years.

What began as a quick visit became a fascination, drawing us back again and again to deepen friendships with chefs, guides, and artisans who revealed the city from within. This journey grows from that experience and the desire to share a place that continues to inspire us.

For many, travel begins in Europe. Mexico City offers a different perspective, one that reveals how deeply its ingredients and traditions have shaped Spanish cuisine. Experiencing that connection firsthand brings new meaning to the food cultures we know.

Together, we’ll explore one of the world’s most dynamic culinary capitals, moving from street food to celebrated restaurants, from historic neighborhoods to markets and kitchens. From Xochimilco to hands-on cooking and evenings of lucha libre, this is an immersive exploration of a city defined by history, creativity, and energy.

Your Guide

Felix Meana, Cúrate Co-Founder

Cúrate Travel began as a natural extension of Felix Meana’s lifelong pursuit of discovery, connection, and joy through travel. Long before founding Cúrate, Felix lived with a backpack and a sense of adventure, traveling across Australia, southern Africa, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. In those early years, he worked tirelessly through each busy restaurant season, saving enough to see the world, a rhythm that kept him inspired and grounded for more than three decades in an industry that demands both intensity and balance.

When his career led him to the United States and eventually to co-founding Cúrate, travel remained central to his life. Trips to Spain to meet winemakers, visit vineyards, stay in boutique hotels, and share meals with friends — old and new — revealed something deeper: a calling to bring others along on these experiences. Felix realized his greatest gift was not just curating journeys, but sharing the magic of them,  creating opportunities for others to feel the same excitement, connection, and joy he found in exploring the world through food, wine, and hospitality.

That realization became the foundation of Cúrate Travel: journeys designed to feel personal, passionate, and profoundly human.
